2nd Annual St. John Fisher Exihibition Clinic and Game

Erin’s Isle Football Club and St. John Fisher are holding their second annual Gaelic football clinic and exhibition game at Growney Stadium on Sunday, April 13th from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm.  Admission is free.  For the first hour, the footballers will host a Gaelic clinic for any and all interested attendees—male and female—who can learn the rules of the game and how to play it. Then, members of the Erin’s Isle team will play an exhibition game against the Fisher Varsity Soccer team for the crowd during the second hour.

Training

Sessions are starting again. Saturday mornings starting at 11am and going for 2 hours located at Charles Carroll School No. 46 @ 250 Newcastle Rd. Rochester, NY 14610.

Off Season Updates

We are currently in the off season in terms of playing but the club is stilling working behind the scenes to continue improving the club.

We are currently working on having an exhibition game in the Rochester area in the Spring of 2014, which will be open for the public to come along and see the team in action.

Annual General Meeting (A.G.M)

To round off the year, on the 1st of December the AGM for Erin's Isle was held in Merchants L&M in Rochester. Great banter was had discussing that last increbibly enjoyable season together. Elections were held for the board  and it was a carry over from the 2013 season with Greg Maine as Chairman, Jason Barrett as Vice Chairman, Mary O'Connor as Treasurer, Mike Ahern as Registrar, John Murphy as PRO and finally Mike Carlotta elected as Secretary.
